Icon Animation

When the server is first started, a "splash screen" appears. When the server has completed its initialization, it minimizes itself into an icon. While it is "iconized", if a user connects and requests a document, the icon title changes to "httpd active" and the icon shows activity. This adds to the overhead created by the server, but it is surprisingly small.
